Summer on the Sakonnet River just hits differently. Meg & Clay's celebration at The Boathouse was the perfect example of why we love a shorter, intentional wedding day. As the afternoon transitioned into an al fresco celebration, the true beauty of a restaurant wedding at The Boathouse came to life. One of the biggest advantages of an 'Intimate Collection' wedding is the intimacy it fosters—suddenly, the traditional formalities melt away into a high-end dinner party with your favorite people. We spent the afternoon documenting the candid, unscripted moments that define a summer night on the coast: the clinking of glasses, the golden light reflecting off the bay, and the belly laughs shared over fresh seafood. By focusing on the intentional details rather than a rigid timeline, we were able to capture the soul of the reception without ever feeling like an interruption.
