COASTAL BREEZE & BAYSIDE VOWS: SUMMER AT THE BOATHOUSE

Explore Our work

Summer on the Sakonnet River just hits differently. Meg & Clay's celebration at The Boathouse was the perfect example of why we love a shorter, intentional wedding day. We spent four fast-paced hours soaking up every bit of that Tiverton salt air—from a sun-drenched ceremony right on the water to an al fresco dinner that felt more like a private party with best friends. It was bright, breezy, and proof that you don’t need a twelve-hour timeline to capture the heart of a story. We got in, captured the magic, and left them to toast the sunset with their favorite people.

The Waterside "I Do"

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the Sakonnet River serves as your backdrop. The air turned salty, the energy settled, and under the glowing New England sun, these two made it official.

Dinner, Toasts, and Coastal Light

As the afternoon transitioned into an al fresco celebration, the true beauty of a restaurant wedding at The Boathouse came to life. One of the biggest advantages of an 'Intimate Collection' wedding is the intimacy it fosters—suddenly, the traditional formalities melt away into a high-end dinner party with your favorite people. We spent the afternoon documenting the candid, unscripted moments that define a summer night on the coast: the clinking of glasses, the golden light reflecting off the bay, and the belly laughs shared over fresh seafood. By focusing on the intentional details rather than a rigid timeline, we were able to capture the soul of the reception without ever feeling like an interruption. It was the perfect finale to a four-hour story—proof that when you have a view this good and a crowd this lively, you don’t need anything else.
